About Me
I just really love writing speculative stories and games. I lived in Tassie up until 2023, but now reside in Sydney's east, enjoying warm afternoons and the sea-side lifestyle the city has to offer.

My work has been published in various magazines and anthologies over the years. I edited the SF/F/H anthology A Hand of Knaves with my good friend Leife Shallcross in 2017, then began writing branching narratives (pick-a-path tales) for US-based game companies. While this helped pay the bills for a time, the volatility of the game industry wasn't for me. Much of the work I did during 2018-24 is no longer available as the companies I wrote for moved on from the apps they were developing during that time.

In 2025 I struggled to overcome a minor bout of cancer, and am happy to report that - following surgery and 6 months of chemo - I'm currently free of any adverse indications.

As the final months of 2025 approach, I'm returning to writing short fiction, with a longer work bubbling away in the background. If you're here because you read something I wrote and enjoyed it, or you'd just like to chat about writery stuff, please drop me a note via the contact form on the home page of this site. I enjoy hearing from readers and other writers.

P.S. I'm not a fan of A.I. and (unless this site-builder is sneakily using it behind my back) you won't find it used here. All words and images on this site were either generated by me, or another actual living human being.
